On the morning of December 14, supported by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Xi'an Municipal People's government and the municipal bureau of Culture and tourism, and hosted by Government of the People's Republic of China, Japan's Peace Cruise Company and Mo Bangfu, "2019 china-japan friendship and S DGs Photography Exhibition" , sponsored by the Xishi District Museum of Xi'an Datang Silk Road, opened at the Museum of Datang West, the starting point of Silk Road in Sui and Tang dynasties, and will be on display free of charge until December 20. This photo exhibition is rich in content, through the lens of tourists to show the Silk Road along the customs of the countries, highlighting the humanities, each photo exhibition shelves have attracted many viewers.     On the opening day, wang Yong, vice mayor of the Xi'an Municipal People's Government; Yao Kaihui, deputy inspector of the Xi'an Municipal Government of the People's Republic of China Office; Qiangsheng, director of the Government of the People's Republic of China's Foreign Affairs Office; Kang Lifeng, deputy director of the Municipal Bureau of Culture and tourism; Wang Yan, deputy director of the Government of the People's Republic of China of the city's Lianhu district; Otsuge, former consul general of Japan in Chongqing; member of the General Association of Legal Persons in China and Japan; Japanese economic critic; and international experts appointed by the Xi'an municipal government, Mo Bangfu; and Japangrace chairman, Taka Yamamoto, deputy President of Datang Xishi District Group, Museum Curator and researcher Wang Bin was warmly received and attended.

     Speaking at the opening ceremony, Wang Yong, deputy mayor of Xi'an, said: China and Japan are separated by a narrow strip of water and have had exchanges since the Han Dynasty of China. For more than 2,000 years, peace and friendship have been the main theme in the hearts of the two peoples. The two peoples have learned from each other and promoted their respective development, they have also made important contributions to the progress of human civilization. Photography, he says, can congeal beauty into a single moment and preserve it forever. The Exhibition of 150 photographs is an exhibition of the customs and traditions along the Silk Road and an initiative for peace.

      A delegation from the peace ship visited Xi'an, the starting point of the Land Silk Road, and cooperated with everyone through this photo exhibition, said Seano Shimizu, former consul general of Japan in Chongqing, the link between the sea route of Silk Road and the overland Silk Road served as a bond to promote friendship between Japan and China.

     According to Mo Bangfu, the peace ship is a global cruise ship that set sail 36 years ago, visiting an average of 25 ports on each round-the-world trip. The exhibition showcases more than 150 images taken by the cruise ship Mir along the Silk Road Belt and Road by Mir passengers, who show some of the footage from their travels, to show the people of Xi'an the human customs along the Silk Road, and brilliantly explained the subject of photography ——"to protect the beautiful earth, but also to create a better future" . The exhibition, which has been held in coastal cities before, was moved to the inland city of Xi'an, a tribute to the city's important role in "Belt and Road" and international cultural exchanges.

     At the event, representatives from China and Japan, including Wang Yong and Seano Shimizu, cut the ribbon for the opening of the exhibition.

After active planning and promotion by both China and Japan, on September 10 this year, Japanese representatives and leaders of the Lianhu District District government visited the Datangxi City Museum and had a discussion, curator Wang Bin received and took part in the discussion. Representative of the Japanese side, Mr. Mo Bangfu, said that Japan has a deep understanding and favorable feeling towards China. It has a lot of knowledge about Xi'an in history, but not enough about Xi'an today. The DATANGXI museum plays an important role in promoting the spread of Silk Road Culture, "Belt and Road" cultural exchange is of great significance, and the theme of sino-japanese friendship can be perfectly matched with that of Xi'an.

     On the same day, Vice Mayor Wang Yong and his wife toured the exhibition halls on the first to fourth floors of the Datang West Museum.
