Tang Xishi Museum held "persisting in craftsmanship and building dreams: Sculpture Art Exhibition on both sides of the Taiwan Strait"

There is no limit to art. The beauty of art will reach everyone's heart. The cultural and artistic exchanges across the Taiwan Strait will cross the island. Sculpture art, as a form of beauty, will bridge the communication between the two sides and deepen the understanding and friendship between the people on both sides.
On August 8, the exhibition of "sticking to the craftsman's dream - sculpture art on both sides of the Taiwan Strait" jointly sponsored by Datang Xishi Museum and Taiwan Dayan humanities association was displayed in the temporary exhibition hall on the third floor of the museum. The exhibition lasted for one month and was open to the public free of charge. The exhibition invites and gathers the works of four famous sculptors from Taiwan and three from mainland China. The diversified sculpture culture of both sides of the Taiwan Strait is well displayed through these sculpture works of different types and styles, giving people the ultimate artistic interpretation and new visual experience.
The exhibition shows Taiwan's Chen Fengxian's filigree and brick carvings, Wang Xiuqi's dream stone carvings, Li Baolong's stainless steel carvings and Lin Zhengren's Bronze carvings. They are all excellent works of contemporary art style and Taiwan's regional cultural characteristics. The works of mainland sculptors on display also have their own characteristics, inclusiveness and imagination, including Zhou Qixiang's Sima Qian, self sculpture, Shi Zhenying's Beethoven and Xie Cong's LiuNian 1937.
These beautiful and exquisitely carved sculpture exhibits are shaped by the unusual creativity of sculptors in metal, jade, ceramics, diamonds, even hair and other materials. The exhibits not only reflect a strong artistic atmosphere, but also a strong personal style. The rigor and delicacy can capture the appeal of art.
For example, "Taiwan's first micro carving" teacher Chen Fengxian's carving works, such as teapots, pandas and rice carvings less than half the size of a fingernail, can bring us what kind of exhibition experience? You must be curious!
The surprise of the exhibition is that you can not only watch these art exhibits blooming directly, but also listen to the sculptors' interpretation of their works, persistence of their ingenuity and pursuit of art on the day of the exhibition.
