Tang Dynasty (AD618-907)
Museum collection
The Middle East man is holding the rein of a camel, with his legs clamping the camel, pointed soft hat, thick eyebrow, deep eyes, big nose, bears, red clothes, black trousers and pointed boots. The camel with two humps is raising its head and walking ahead, with mouth open and teeth exposed, and mane swinging in the wind. The statue has a big size and is splendid made, which is a scarce masterpiece of this kind of statues in Tang Dynasty.
