About Us

      The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is a provincial Comprehensive Museum of history and art, a National First Class Museum, a unit for the protection of key ancient books in Guangxi and a center for the restoration of ancient books. Its predecessor was established in 1934 as the Guangxi Provincial Museum. The building was built in 1978 and covers an area of about 60 mu. It is composed of the exhibition building with the characteristics of the stilt house and the National Cultural Relics Garden with strong national characteristics and customs, in Our National Museum, the Nothing in Common. It has a collection of 70,000 pieces (sets) , including 148 pieces (sets) of first-class Cultural Relics, and a collection of more than 30,000 volumes of wired-bound ancient books. The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with its combination of inside and outside, activity and stillness, Sound of the Underground and savoury features, fully demonstrates Guangxi's historical origins and local characteristics and attracts visitors from all directions.
