This white marble statue was found in 1954 at Xiude Temple Site in Quyang County of Hebei. The lifelike bodyshape and the exquisite ornate apparel & ornaments were vividly demonstrated with high level craftsmanship and provide the first direct material for studying Buddhism in Tang Dynasty.
