Bronze Square Table Stand Shaped in Dragon-and-phoenix design

This Table Stand was excavated from the tomb of King Cuo in Pingshan County, Hebei in 1977. Cuo was the king of Zhongshan State in Warring States Period. The table stand is in shape of a foursquare with sidelength of 47.5cm ,made of Bronze with Gold & Silver inlays. The lacquered wooden table top had been rotted and disappeared. The fantastic design and complex technology represented the peak of craftsmanship of its age.
