As one of the earliest automobile companies in the world, De-Dion Bouton Automobile Company developed a car with a reciprocating steam engine as early as 1889. Soon after, the potential of the internal combustion engine was founded by the company and the company began to design the modern car. In 1904, the company became one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world. This vehicle is equipped with a 2-cylinder engine that gives a maximum power of 6 kilowatts and the chassis design with front –mounted rear-drive is adopted. Its handle-type shifting mode becomes the mainstream of the shifting operation mode. More importantly, the semi-independent suspension system employed by De-Dion Bouton, was a classic handcrafted system, and is still used today in SUV Models. The De-Dion Bouton on display, produced in 1906, is a second-class collection of the museum. It was collected in 2010.
